The other night, after the Wednesday night Law & Order triple bill (Criminal Intent, SVU and regular old Jeremy Sisto) I had my TV tuned to the late night news. That night’s “special report” was an inside exposé into ‘sexting‘ as a wide-spread (!!!) phenomenon among teenagers.
It made me think about other potential mobile-phone-text-based phenomena that might arrive after the wave of sexting:
- mexting: texting Mexicans
- chexting: sending a text whilst eating a delicious pretzel, cracker and cereal combo
- dyslexting: typing backwards
- hexting: sending a text that curses someone
- al frexto: texting outside
- selextive: not answering all of your texts
- flexting: texting people about your latest accomplishments at the gym
